Today is my birthday *insert Beatles song here*

Today is my Seventeenth Birthday! All I can say is holy crap, how am I already 17?!?! Today I have school and finals are looming over my head, so I'm just going out to lunch with some of my friends and then dinner with my family later tonight, although nobody will tell me where we're going?!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Hey Y'all! I originally wanted to do a december favorites post, but that window of time has passed :(
So here are some things I've been loving recently!

+ My Tervis water bottle that I got for Christmas from my Aunt. This thing is the Bomb.com. If you've never hear of Tervis before, it's basically a complany that makes drinkware with designs in between two layers of plastic (read: no condensation on your hands!) This is the one I got for Christmas, and I want more!


+ Aviator sunglasses. I bought a pair of these right before thanksgiving, and I can't get enough of them! They really make me want a pair of Ray Bans!

+ The fact that we had an extra 2 DAYS of winter break! No ones complaining over here!

+ The amount of snow on the ground. I'm fairly positive we have around 16" of snow in our yard. It's awesome. Despite the ridiciulously cold temps we've been having (-23˚) I love cold weather (mostly because nobody can force me outside ;)

+ Tumblr and Pinterest.  Over winter break, I also get on a social media kick and I've been pinning and reblogging like crazy! Go follow me and message me on tumblr if you came from my blog!

+ This Playlist! (I love spotify!)





+The Office. Like pretty much 99% of my school, I spend my winter break holed up in my house on Netflix aka the best invention ever. I started watching The Office at the beginning of winter break and It's quickly becoming an obsession. GO WATCH IT.

+ Lastly, I'm loving that one of my Lilly Pulitzer New Year Cheer Sale purchases is scheduled to come in today! (stay tuned on Instagram ;) The other purchase however is still processing :(

I don't know about you guys, but my whole town has basically shut itself down. We are in frozen mode here in Chiberia. Yesterday, the highest temperate I saw was -11˚. Yep. It's chilly. Needless to say, most school districts near me (and practically everywhere in the midwest) canceled school Monday and today (Tuesday). I'm not complaining.

Hey y'all! Hope you had a very happy New Years Day!
       Our family spent the day watching the NHL Winter Classic and the HGTV New Years programming! The day could have been more exciting, but Chicago is in the midst of a 48 snow storm! Hey, I'm not complaining! This snow is GORGEOUS!

As you guys read yesterday, one of my New Years resolution is to be more fit and stay healthier. I'm taking this oppurtuinity as a blogger to hold you guys accountable for making sure I work out. I want this year to be the year I finally start taking good care of my body, and I really hope I can do it!

I thought I'd share some of my favorite "No Gym Needed" work-outs!

All you need for this is a pair of and weights and an open space!
I love this workout because you can really feel it while you're doing it, and especially the next day!

New Years Resolutions:

Hey guys, you know what today is right? I thought it would only be appropriate to share with you some new years resolutions today!

1. Workout as much as you can each week. If you really can't workout that week, don't beat yourself up about it.

2. Utilize your time wisely.

3. Get more serious about your school work.

4. Have at least a 4.0 second semester.

4. Drive as much as possible.

5. Watch your words and choose them wisely.

6. Be more social. What's the worst thing that could happen?

7. Keep your room cleaner. A lot cleaner.

8. Take better care of your body.

9. Journal more often.

10. Make more effort when getting ready for school.

11. Live a litte.

12. Laugh a lot.

13. Don't take anything for granted.

14. Have family dinner 1+ times a week.

15. Blog consistently.

16. Save more money.

17. Live for myself.
