What I Wear To Work Out

Hello er'body :)

In today's post I thought I would talk about what I wear to work out!

Read my Previous Post about What I do at the Gym!

To work out, I typically like to wear cropped leggings. I have a cotton pair from Justice and Three actual work-out material pairs from Old Navy.

Seriously though I could live in these.

So Basically I'm obsessed with Cropped leggings.  On top I either wear a random t-shirt or This shirt that I have from old navy as well.

For Gymmies, I wear Adidas Clima Cool Running shoes that I got a DSW two summer ago and can't find a picture of online. Sorry :(

What do you guys wear to work out? Comment Down below and tell me!
Hope you enjoyed!

My Skincare Routine

Hey guys!

For today's post, I thought I would talk all about my skincare routine, the products I use, and the type of skin I have. this is also mostly my nighttime routine. I don't do much to my skin in the mornings.

My skin: My skin, in the summer is very oily and shiny, but this winter especially, I've noticed that my skin has become very dry. I also have fairly acne prone skin. That being said, I don't take super good care of my skin, so that could be partially the cause of my acne. I have acne pretty much all over my face; forehead, cheeks, chin. I also have freckles, although that irrelevant. I also have trouble with large pores on my cheeks are and on my nose.

Step 1: Take off my makeup with my Yes to Cucumbers face wipes. These are pretty good for taking off your makeup and they're also all natural, so they're good for your skin as well.

Really old picture, don't want to talk about it.
Step 2: Exfoliate. I use the Estee Lauder "So Polished" exfoliator. I'm not sure if you can buy this any more, but my mom picked it up at a CCO (Cosmetic Company Store) and I use it probably once a week in the shower to buff the dead skin off my face. It's pretty gentle and I would recommend it.

Step 3: Cleanse. The cleanser that I use in the Clean & Clear Essential Foaming Cleanser. I wanted to have gentle cleanser that wasn't too abrasive on my skin so i didn't irritate it, and this one does the trick. It's really good at getting the excess makeup and oil off your face. It's a tiny bit drying, but I think it's good for my acne prone skin.

Step 4: Moisturize. I use the Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer just because it seemed like the best basic choice at Walgreens. It moisturizes my skin just fine, but it does have salicylic acid in it, which seems a little counter productive in a moisturizer, but it still works.

Step 5: Treat. to spot treat my acne, I use Clindamycin Phosphate Benzoyl Peroxide which is a prescription cream that my doctor prescribed to me to help control my acne. It burns a little when I put it on at first, but it really helps clear up your acne faster. I don't know much else about it sorry. :(

Mine is the jar on the right which came in the box in the middle.

Here are some products I've been looking to try. Have you tried them? If so, feel free to comment down below and tell me what you think of them!

The Shoe Obsession

Hey Guys!

Today's blog post is going to be all about my recent obsession with shoes. :/ Not Good.

Recently I've reallllly been lusting after a pair of L.L. Bean boots. I want a pair so badly, and I think they'd be super versatile in Chicago's horrid weather. They cost $100-$125, but everybody on the LL bean website says they last for years, so I think they're worth the splurge. :)

The next pair is an essential in my book. I really want a pair of flats that I could wear with a ton of outfits that aren't going to kill my feet if I wear them. these seem like the obvious choice.

Combat boot. I think they'd pair well with some more of my "edgy" outfits and really would enjoy a pair. Here's some that I think are cute from steve madden.
via

Jack Rodgers. These shoes seem like the perfect everyday sandal for the summer and spring time. You could easily dress them up or down and I've heard nothing but good things about them. Although they run for over $100, they seem like a very versatile shoe.

via

Toms. these also seem like a really versatile shoe for all year round. I've heard they're comfy and am eager to get a pair. I can't decide on a color though :(

via

Sperry Top Siders. My dad has worn these for as long as I can remember, and I want to be just like him :) I think they're soooo cute and can't wait to get a pair. I'm pretty positive I'll purchase a pair this summer. Plus, my dad's had his for yearrrrrs, so I know they last a long time.

So that's my shoe wish list for now...
I'll probably end up purchasing a couple of these shoes for this spring and summer, tell me your opinions on these shoes in the comments below! I'd love to hear them :)

January Favorites!

Howdy Hay guys :)

Here were some of my favorites from January 2013!

1.) Revlon Colorstay foundation. If you want me to do a full review on this foundation with photos and stuff I'd be happy to, but this stuff rocks. Botom Line.

2.) My riding boots. I got the Nine West Myway riding boots in Sahara and I absolutely love them. they're so comfortable and the go well with some much stuff :) I also plan on doing a boots styling blog post, so be sure to look out for that!

3.) Maybelline Rocket Mascara. This stuff (excuse the pun) rocks! I love how it gives my lashes so much volume. I was wearing it today and my friend asked if my lashes were fake! I take that as a compliment. Must be a great mascara!

4.) My ralph Lauren rain boots. If you live near the Chicago Area, that you know it;s been raining/ snowing/sleeting like CRAZY here recently.  I've gotten a ton of use out of my boots this past month and plan to get even more use out of them later this year. I got mine at Marshall's in August if you were wondering.

Once again, Pic from my Instagram.

5.) Next would be my coach purse that I got for my 16th birthday (no I don't have my license yet). It's a Black crossbody bag in the Black on Black "C" print with Silver hardware. :)

6.) My Leather Jacket. I got a leather jacket for my Birthday as well and I'm in love with it. I think it's so comfortable to wear and really goes well with my new purse!

You guessed it... my Instagram :)

I hope you guys enjoyed and have a happy February aka the month that hosts my least favorite holiday '__'
